Kiwanis Club of
Pullman -- in collaboration with several community organizations in Pullman
including Pullman Child Welfare, Community Action Center and
Charlene Jasper of the Daily Grind -- launched a Stuff the Bus
project
August 1-15, 2009, to benefit youth in our community. See the sponsors.
Through the generous contributions of our
business and community sponsors and hundreds of Pullman citizens, the Stuff the Bus
project:
- Received 4,500 school supplies items from the community
- Purchased and packed 130 backpacks with school supplies for elementary and middle
school students
- Purchased 30 Gift Cards at $50 each for high school students
- Purchased 23 Flash Drives and received 4 as donations
Volunteers from the Kiwanis family of clubs --
Kiwanis Club of Pullman, Circle K,
Builders Club and Key Club -- assisted with the project, as did other
volunteers.
And we had wonderful support from business and community sponsors:

We Stuffed the Bus!
And made a difference in children's lives! Thank you!
